I recently spent two weeks at Nova Mova in Kiev and cannot speak highly enough of my experience. In fact, my current focus is to go back as soon as I am able! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and of course professional. The teaching was first class. I was fortunate to have been able to have one to one teaching for 3 hours per day, and while I would class myself as a beginner, I saw a huge improvement over the two weeks - спасибо Наталья! The school has everything you need from a small library/internet area to WiFi. There are classrooms, noticeboards and structured extra curricular activities in late afternoon - you can choose which events interest you and simply go along. I met many other international students there and explored numerous interesting sites/monuments/museums in Kiev. Overall I'd highly recommend a visit to Nova Mova. I had a superb time there and really look forward to going back. Thanks to all the staff for making my time so enjoyable and the teaching so interesting. I have just returned from a second visit to NM and as with the first, it was excellent. The staff (teachers and administrative) are friendly, welcoming and helpful, not to mention of course, experts. One day I hope to speak Russian as well as most of them can speak English!!! I'd like to particularly mention how flexible the staff were due to a last minute travel change on my part - спасибо Ирина за помощь. The teaching is diverse and topical in terms of reading, grammar, and of course speaking. I read articles on everything form Sigmund Freud to the 'wealth line' in Moscow - спасибо Надежда. Sometimes it's hard work trying to say the simplest things in Russian, but it's very rewarding when little things start to fall into place. I highly rate Nova Mova and hope to keep returning when possible.

I have studied in Novamova Language School for 2 months in December 2019 and January 2020 and everything has been great! The friendly atmosphere, the well prepared teachers, the whole school infrastructure is modern and the offered activities beside the lessons are fun (cooking club, etc.). The best thing about my experience is that teachers really transmit their passion for the language and as a student this is a high source of motivation to get better. I highly recommend this school for someone willing to learn Russian in Kiev.

I am amazed at the taste of the almond sponge cake and the moisture it retains after being frozen! unique flavors with mango jelly and lemon cream. The rum whipped ganache very creamy and delicious with a touch of lemon and vanilla. A bit complicated to make the chocolate sheets very thin, it was on my second attempt that I succeeded. I loved the shiny effect with the nappage! you can bite into it and feel the creaminess of the components and the crunchiness of the crumble!

These are my snickers macarons. The combination of rich peanut flavours and chocolate give a unique taste to these macrons.

And finishing touches off chocolate coated peanut as a decorating of macarons make this macarons more delicious and more appetizing.

Delicious dessert for family . My family loved the taste. The caramel custard, vanilla cream and the flavoured pecan was delicious. The choux was crunchy and just the right texture. This eclair was delicious. It is fantastic that is gluten-free and the eclairs come out looking like the regular eclairs


Here is my Opera Cake. Very delicious cake with very delicate process in making it. The most challenging step for me is glazing it since I'm not confident enough to do the spatula scrapping (need a lot of practice). So I just tilted it and let the excess run and slide down from the cake.

From now on I will appreciate an Opera Cake regardless the taste!

What a lovely cake! Really soft sponge!, I did soak the sponge with lemon syrup. The banana lime buttercream is delicious, the lime caramel... awesome. The coconut to complete everything. This recipe is a great success!

The combination of pistachio and raspberry in this recipe is simply extraordinary. I love the smoothness of the ganache that very well adds to the delicate softness of the sponge where the raspberry punch really delivers a punch to the senses.
