My teenage son had taken Russian at school for 3 years but it was not until he participated in the Survival Kyiv program that he really started feeling comfortable speaking. The program was designed perfectly for teens, he looked forward to going each day and really enjoyed it, which says a lot from a teenage boy! He has continued with a small group class for the past year. The classes are well organized, and the teacher really knows how to reach a teenage audience. They have learned not only grammar and vocabulary but also slang and computer gaming vocabulary. If you want to learn Russian or Ukrainian, Language Lab is absolutely the best!

I've been studying Russian here for about 6 months and I'm really happy with the school. The mix of grammar, speaking, games and activities makes the lessons fun and you can't switch off and drift through the lesson without learning. I recently spent two weeks at Nova Mova in Kiev and cannot speak highly enough of my experience. In fact, my current focus is to go back as soon as I am able! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and of course professional. The teaching was first class. I was fortunate to have been able to have one to one teaching for 3 hours per day, and while I would class myself as a beginner, I saw a huge improvement over the two weeks - спасибо Наталья! The school has everything you need from a small library/internet area to WiFi. There are classrooms, noticeboards and structured extra curricular activities in late afternoon - you can choose which events interest you and simply go along. I met many other international students there and explored numerous interesting sites/monuments/museums in Kiev. Overall I'd highly recommend a visit to Nova Mova. I had a superb time there and really look forward to going back. Thanks to all the staff for making my time so enjoyable and the teaching so interesting. I have just returned from a second visit to NM and as with the first, it was excellent. The staff (teachers and administrative) are friendly, welcoming and helpful, not to mention of course, experts. One day I hope to speak Russian as well as most of them can speak English!!! I'd like to particularly mention how flexible the staff were due to a last minute travel change on my part - спасибо Ирина за помощь. The teaching is diverse and topical in terms of reading, grammar, and of course speaking. I read articles on everything form Sigmund Freud to the 'wealth line' in Moscow - спасибо Надежда. Sometimes it's hard work trying to say the simplest things in Russian, but it's very rewarding when little things start to fall into place. I highly rate Nova Mova and hope to keep returning when possible.

I have studied in Novamova Language School for 2 months in December 2019 and January 2020 and everything has been great! The friendly atmosphere, the well prepared teachers, the whole school infrastructure is modern and the offered activities beside the lessons are fun (cooking club, etc.). The best thing about my experience is that teachers really transmit their passion for the language and as a student this is a high source of motivation to get better.
